INLAND
Inland is a microphone journey.
A downward movement from stratosphere till the interior of the earth.
An hypothetical sound route from A to B
with the several acoustic layers and sound environments.
For deep ambiences I used several hydrophones to record underwater sounds,
sea waters and a river undercurrent.
I used field recordings of several substances like sand, ashes, organic debris, stone collisions,
ice, thawing process of a microphone and other acoustic phenomena.
In this particular case at the stage of Culturgest I used a portable laboratory to conduct
a real time experiment. Sounds of the boiling liquids were processed and mixed
with the background of the piece in a totally improvisation.
Ableton Live / Max/Msp
